Life Chance to have a Sister or a Brother

The brother sister bond is a very close one. Here the older brother tries to pass on his knowledge to his little sister. The brotherly instinct is to try and protect his sister from any kind of hurt. His parents I'm sure instilled very thorough family values in him when he was just a child. She is very apprecitative to his attentiveness. They are so close. When they grown older they will still be side by side. He will be there for her first date, to make sure she comes home safe. She will be there through his first break up and comfort him and tell him that everything will be alright. They will be there for each other when their parents decided that they are old enough to know that they will be getting a divorce. They will then be their own parents and help each other through these times.

These are typical experiences that family's go through together. They will both be there to celebrate her graduation from art school and his graduation from medical school. She will be there when he looses his first patient. And He will be there when she doesn’t get cast in her first play. It’s a bond that nobody can break. Through heart break and happiness, through family troubles and job woes. Family ties like these just don’t go away.

I am an only child. I wish and wish and wish that I had someone to share a bond like this with. But then I think about my mother. My mom is my absolute best friend. She feels like a sister to me. I have always been really mature for my age so she really didn’t have all that much to parent me on. She has always just been a friend and a sister more than a authority figure such as a mom. I love having that kind of bond with someone. I never really realized I had this until I almost lost it. My mother had a cardiac arrest and went into a coma for 12 days. They said that they didn’t think that she was going to make it. It didn’t know what to do. But by some miracle she made it out and after a few years of therapy and physical rehabilitation she is completely fine! How amazing is that!
