"Quote" from The Everyday

"But why the everyday now?" (page 13)

The book is asking why all the fuss about the "everyday" now? Why not before, why not in 5 years, why not in 100 years? WHY NOW? I think that people before were in so much awwww of all the finer things in life. For example the Elizabethian ages. The big hair, the big dresses, the large glamorous balls, the expensive jewlery and all the fuss if you didnt have these things. Now people are more intuned to what is the "norm", what is just there. Thats why people are looking at Everyday life more often because they have become more accustom to all the fancy shmancy things and are now attracted to the things they see everyday.

We can use for example the kind of people you are attracted to. Guys always drool over the really tan, blonde, big boobed models in the magazine and yet when they look for a girl to date that is not the type at all. They look for more of a down to earth natural beauty. (This is just my views and what i have seen, im sure there are plenty of guys out there who would love the big boob, blonde model!)

You sound like your state of mind regarding beauty might find a good fit in my blog, "Am I The Only One Who See Beauty This Way?" My personal opinion, I think very good looking people are very lonely because, really good looking people won't talk to each other or and they won't talk to people that don't match up to their looks. Lonely.
